They originally belongs to the cliff inhabitants, since the increased castle construction in middle age, they envolved to synanthrope species. The swift hotel is an replacement of the old nest, which are destroyed during the renovation or demolishment. Common swift only recognizes the same breeding site, and even won’t forget their nest during the migration to Afrika. Once they lost the breeding site because of a renovation or demolishment, it tooks long until they will find a new one and won’t return the old place again.
